Not refined, but I like the idea. Korra's outfit is flattering if your muscled and stacked...

I am glad I'm not a drug user.

I say that because I do things that I'm addicted to even though I know I shouldn't. For example, I ate nearly an entire bag of vinegar and salt potato chips. Not good for my diet at all.

I also decided to sketch tonight even though I posted on DA saying that I wouldn't. I wouldn't because, my computer has been over heating. I think the transportation of my computer damaged the thermal compound and now it's running 30 degrees hotter than what it was.

During the sketching I opened OCCT and ... well... judge for yourself.

Settle a bet/argument/conversation I've been having with a friend. Is lilith loli or not. I say not because of dat ass, dat figure and because flat chested adults do exist. He says loli because he thinks she's under 18. I've always seen loli as something else, as little girl pedophile stuff. He says loli includes jailbait. It's a long standing argument.

Chun Li Commission Sketches

 Based on 3rd Strike version.

If you go to TVtropes and look up Chun Li there is this section that talks about how Ono and the character designer (whose name escapes me at the moment) have a difference of opinion on what Chun Li should look like. The artist prefers thunderous thighs. Ono prefers the "slimmer" interpretation of Alpha.

My thought was what if she developed Thunderous thighs as a result of the events of Alpha. What if her Alpha outfit was a gym uniform of some kind or something (I'm sure it isn't, but this is where my mind went.)

Anyway, one of the best ways to get thunderous thighs is squats so that's why she's doing squats. This is her transitioning from her body type on Alpha to her body type afterward.

Drawing squats is almost as hard as doing them.

This is one of this things where the only reason I haven't moved forward with it is because the perspective on the legs makes them looked deformed, and I'm just waiting to see if I have sudden inspiration or find a good reference, and am able to make it more acceptable to the viewer.

Fair warning, many posts incoming

So, my main art HD just died, and all that survived were the sketches I was currently working, so in the interest of not losing anything else, I'll be posting those sketches here and on tumblr. (Yes, I just got a tumblr, I'm an art slut, I want as many people to see my work as possible.) My twitter account is tied to this account, and so you twitter followers will see many updates as I'm going to be separating these sketches as best I can.

I need to learn to stop fucking with my paintings. I found this on my HD as I was doing some spring cleaning and I think that this is a better painting than what I eventually posted.

Geisha Sculpt and Character Design

The sculpt isn't going well. I didn't pay attention to edge flow, and as a result the mesh isn't deforming properly, which means posing it has been a bitch and a half. I'm trying to make up for my mistakes, but it's an up hill battle. I've completely given up on the feet and several other areas.

The character design is turning out better though.

Android Geisha - The Warmest Spot

At this point, I'm just being finicky. Gotta call it quits and move on.

The idea is that this woman sold her consciousness in to servitude as an android geisha. In my mind she misses her family, and thus keeps a photo of them near. Additionally, the amount of hard drive space required to hold a human consciousness is so immense that her chasis suffers from regular over heating. As a result the hard drives which run up and down her spine need to be cooled at least once a day. She does this in a super cooled room, yet being a "pleasure model" she still feels heat, pain, pleasure, etc. so in order to make it bearable she has to find the warmest part of the room. To endure the psychological coldness of her situation she escapes in to a psychological warm moment presented in the photo.

So... yeah... double meaning... not gonna explain that anywhere else. I wonder if people will be able to see it. ... Probably not.
